By accessing or using the website at milfordconcretecompany.com, contacting us for services, or entering into any service agreement with Milford Concrete Company, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These terms apply to all visitors to our website and to all customers who engage Milford Concrete Company for concrete contracting services.
Milford Concrete Company is a concrete contractor based in Milford, CT. We provide concrete installation, repair, and related services for residential and commercial customers in Milford and surrounding communities. Our services include but are not limited to: concrete driveway building, patio construction, sidewalk building, stamped concrete, garage floors, retaining walls, foundation work, and concrete cutting.
The information provided on our website is for general reference only. Service availability, scheduling, and scope are subject to confirmation following an in-person site assessment.
All written estimates provided by Milford Concrete Company are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. Estimates are based on conditions observed during an on-site assessment and the scope of work described at that time.
Estimates may be revised if: (a) the customer requests changes to the scope of work; (b) unforeseen site conditions are discovered after work begins, such as buried utilities, unstable soil, or existing damage not visible during the initial assessment; or (c) significant changes in material costs occur between the estimate date and the project start date. We will notify you in writing before proceeding with any work that would result in a price change.
Verbal estimates or rough ranges provided by phone or email are not binding. Only a signed written estimate constitutes a firm price commitment.
Project start dates are scheduled based on permit approval, weather conditions, and crew availability. We will communicate your scheduled start date in advance and notify you promptly of any changes.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or permits have been submitted may be subject to cancellation fees to cover non-refundable costs already incurred on your behalf. Any applicable cancellation fees will be described in your written service agreement.
We reserve the right to reschedule or pause work due to weather conditions that would compromise the quality of the concrete pour or the safety of our crew. We will not pour in conditions that fall outside the safe temperature and weather parameters required by the work.
Payment terms are set forth in the written service agreement for each project. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins to cover material costs and permit fees. The remaining balance is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of estimate. Invoices not paid within the timeframe specified in the service agreement may be subject to a late payment fee as described in that agreement.
Failure to make payment as agreed may result in suspension of work and may be subject to collection proceedings. Milford Concrete Company reserves the right to pursue all available remedies for unpaid balances, including recovery of reasonable attorney fees where permitted by law.
Where required by local ordinance, Milford Concrete Company will obtain applicable building permits before work begins. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and are included in the written estimate. Work will not begin on permit-required projects until permits have been approved by the applicable authority.
The customer is responsible for ensuring clear access to the work area and for disclosing any known underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other subsurface conditions prior to work beginning. Milford Concrete Company is not liable for damage to undisclosed or unmarked subsurface features.
Milford Concrete Company warrants that work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Specific warranty terms, if any, will be described in the written service agreement for your project.
Concrete is a natural material subject to variation in color, texture, and minor surface imperfections. Surface cracking that is within normal tolerances for concrete flatwork, including hairline cracks and shrinkage cracks, is not considered a defect. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by: misuse or abuse by the property owner; application of de-icing salts or chemicals not recommended for use on concrete; vehicle loads in excess of the design specification; acts of nature including flooding, freeze events, or ground movement; or modifications made by parties other than Milford Concrete Company.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Milford Concrete Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.
